Seagreen Summer Dress

Another recent look of mine was a cute seagreen, summer dress! It is fairly short in length and has beautiful white horizontal lace detailing. The brand is GB (Gianni Bini for juniors) which you can find at Dillard's. The dress is a negligee-inspired style. It actually has two pieces. The underlying garment is a silky slip dress and the sheer, lace piece goes overtop. There is also lace detailing around the neckline and bottom perimeter of the dress. I added a couple of accessories which include rose gold hoop earrings and a rose gold ring from Swarovski, a long strand pearl necklace from Francesca's, and pearl bobby pins which I purchased from a business at my local farmer's market. I know we're technically into fall at this point, but...summer ain't over till it's over! There was a lot of spinning going on if you hadn't noticed!

Floral Crop Top + Palazzo Pants

Hello everyone! I would like to share with you all one of my recent outfits. I wore a cropped floral top with a pair of black palazzo pants. Both pieces are from Express. The top is actually part of a set, and I do own the matching pencil skirt. I just felt like changing it up a bit! I also find that the pants create a slightly less dressy look. The top has horizontal lines of material on the back. The pants also have a couple of interesting details. Each pant leg has a slit that goes fairly high up the leg. This creates beautiful, flowy movement! They could even be mistaken for a midi skirt. There is also a cute, tie around waist feature. I wore this to one of my fashion classes. Because I wore this to school (I do a heck of a lot of walking), I wore a pair of pink flats (not pictured) by Naturlizer. Had I worn this to a night out on the town, I would have worn a pair of black heels instead. The jewelry consisted of a pair of drop earrings from Express. Check out the look!
