Silky Yellow Skirt

Ciao everyone! Here is one of my recent looks. I wore a black long sleeve top by Victoria's Secret (I so wish they would sell clothes again). It even has a built in bra which is amazing! You don't have to worry about wearing a regular bra that would end up showing through the crisscross design in the back. The skirt is super fun, and I cannot wait to tell you all about it! It was created by a Brazilian designer named Kariza who started her brand of the same name. She came to the US and found success with her wrap skirts! They are made in different lengths, tend to be one size fits all, are reversible, and can be worn in endless ways! They are so vibrant with beautiful colors and prints! I own a couple, and first discovered them in a little boutique in Put-in-Bay which is a village located on South Bass Island in Ohio. This particular one I love for the fall, because of the beautiful golden yellow color. It also has some pink on the sides and the waist tie. There are other varyi

Oversize Sweater + Mini Skirt

Happy Fall everyone! It has taken me awhile to accept that we have transitioned out of summer. I do love all four seasons, but it's always difficult for me to say goodbye to summer. Anyhow, my outfit for today was a full on fall look! I wore an oversize, black and white speckled, turtleneck sweater from Express. I paired it with a cute little plum colored mini skirt that is also from Express. It was a bit chilly here in Northeast Ohio so I did wear a pair of black leggings under the skirt. The shoes I am extremely excited about! I bought these a few months back and have been dying for an opportunity to wear them! They are black and white, tweed boots by Diba. They have laces and a buckle on one side of each shoe. These are not a style that I would typically wear. I left my comfort zone! I find them to be somewhat edgy which I most certainly am not! I fell in love with them, because of the tweed! Very much Chanel inspired! I feel that the fabric kept the boots a little more classic

Cover Girl

As I've shared with you all, I am a huge fan of old movies. I recently watched a film from 1944 called Cover Girl. It stars the drop dead gorgeous Rita Hayworth and Gene Kelly. It's considered to be a romance, comedy, and musical. Rita plays a woman by the name of Rusty Parker. She is a dancer at a small, local club in Brooklyn. Danny owns and runs the place and is in love with Rusty. One day Maxine, one of her fellow dancers, says that she has heard about a contest that she's interested in entering. The prize? To be the next Cover Girl! The winner's face will grace the cover of Vanity magazine! Rusty decides that she will give it a shot as well. Maxine, who informed her of the contest, becomes nervous that Rusty will win it and decides to sabotage her. She goes first, comes out from the audition, and tells Rusty everything that they are (not) looking for. So, Rusty takes her deceitful advice and ends up making a fool of herself. The magazine publisher decides to go to

Pink Stripes

Hey everyone! Here is a recent outfit that I wore! The pink and white striped maxi skirt is by GN which is a Dillard's brand. It has a slit on either side. The white crop top is from Express. Some standout features include it's almost square neckline, spaghetti straps, and the tie around waist. The medium sized, silver hoop earrings are from Francesca's. Even though we're officially into fall, it's been warm (even hot) outside! I'm so enjoying these fun, summery looks!
