Dotted Swiss

Ciao everyone! This is such a beautiful, classic outfit! I wore a black blouse with a mesh, dotted swiss design at the neckline and the sleeves. This top also has an old-fashioned, sweetheart neckline. This piece is from Express. I paired it with a sleek, black pencil skirt that is also from Express. You can absolutely never go wrong with a head to toe black outfit. It is timeless and universally flattering. Now the accessories! I wore a pair of sheer, black tights with small dots that match the details in the top very well. I believe I found them at Express or Dillard's. The shoes are black, pointy toed, suede pumps by Nine West. I pulled back my hair in a high pony tail which I rarely do. I wore a pair of formal, drop earrings. The top could be worn more casually by swapping out the skirt for a pair of black jeans and the heels for a pair of flat boots. It would still look very nice, but would be more comfortable. I hope you guys enjoy this look as much as I enjoyed wearing it! T

Lady in Red

Ciao! I have a beautiful red look for you all. I wore a red-orange, lace camisole from Express as my base layer. It has a built in bra which is wonderful. The sheer, cherry red, bell-sleeve, lacy top is what really stole the show! This piece is by daytrip which I believe is a brand that is only sold at Buckle. Typically the differing shades of red would have bothered me, but I think it works here! I also wore form fitting, black, pleather pants from Express. Very rock 'n' roll! I would recommend wearing seamless underwear or going commando with these. I am not a fan of panty lines! The shoes were black, lacy, open-toed booties by Aldo. It's a quite dramatic look. I decided to make my hair and makeup just as dramatic! I curled and teased my hair very high. I also wore a smokey eye and a bright, red lip! I had a lot of fun with this look and hope you guys enjoy it as well.

Chocolate Brown Houndstooth

Hello! I have put together some new and exciting outfits recently and cannot wait to share them. The first one that I'd like to feature is a very fall look! I wore a beige, crew neck sweater from Express. I will say that with this particular sweater I had issues with my bra showing through. I'm not talking about the color, but the actual outline of the bra. In order to fix this, I put a silky camisole on underneath, and it did help smooth the lines. I paired it with a chocolate brown, houndstooth pencil skirt by Catch My I. The skirt came with a belt of the same color. As for the shoes, I wore a pair of brown, below the knee, high heel boots. The boots do have buckles on each side. I like these boots, but wish that I had a pair that fit a bit closer to the leg. You could definitely wear tights or thin leggings underneath your skirt. I just chose the bare-legged look. Here are some pics!

Silky Yellow Skirt

Ciao everyone! Here is one of my recent looks. I wore a black long sleeve top by Victoria's Secret (I so wish they would sell clothes again). It even has a built in bra which is amazing! You don't have to worry about wearing a regular bra that would end up showing through the crisscross design in the back. The skirt is super fun, and I cannot wait to tell you all about it! It was created by a Brazilian designer named Kariza who started her brand of the same name. She came to the US and found success with her wrap skirts! They are made in different lengths, tend to be one size fits all, are reversible, and can be worn in endless ways! They are so vibrant with beautiful colors and prints! I own a couple, and first discovered them in a little boutique in Put-in-Bay which is a village located on South Bass Island in Ohio. This particular one I love for the fall, because of the beautiful golden yellow color. It also has some pink on the sides and the waist tie. There are other varyi

Oversize Sweater + Mini Skirt

Happy Fall everyone! It has taken me awhile to accept that we have transitioned out of summer. I do love all four seasons, but it's always difficult for me to say goodbye to summer. Anyhow, my outfit for today was a full on fall look! I wore an oversize, black and white speckled, turtleneck sweater from Express. I paired it with a cute little plum colored mini skirt that is also from Express. It was a bit chilly here in Northeast Ohio so I did wear a pair of black leggings under the skirt. The shoes I am extremely excited about! I bought these a few months back and have been dying for an opportunity to wear them! They are black and white, tweed boots by Diba. They have laces and a buckle on one side of each shoe. These are not a style that I would typically wear. I left my comfort zone! I find them to be somewhat edgy which I most certainly am not! I fell in love with them, because of the tweed! Very much Chanel inspired! I feel that the fabric kept the boots a little more classic

Cover Girl

As I've shared with you all, I am a huge fan of old movies. I recently watched a film from 1944 called Cover Girl. It stars the drop dead gorgeous Rita Hayworth and Gene Kelly. It's considered to be a romance, comedy, and musical. Rita plays a woman by the name of Rusty Parker. She is a dancer at a small, local club in Brooklyn. Danny owns and runs the place and is in love with Rusty. One day Maxine, one of her fellow dancers, says that she has heard about a contest that she's interested in entering. The prize? To be the next Cover Girl! The winner's face will grace the cover of Vanity magazine! Rusty decides that she will give it a shot as well. Maxine, who informed her of the contest, becomes nervous that Rusty will win it and decides to sabotage her. She goes first, comes out from the audition, and tells Rusty everything that they are (not) looking for. So, Rusty takes her deceitful advice and ends up making a fool of herself. The magazine publisher decides to go to
